08年一月份的考试已经过去了，回顾这三次考试，它们都是社会类话题，分别是关于犯罪，传统经验和就业的，除了26日(Some people think the pupils in some countries with high unemployment rate should be offered only primary education. There is no point in offering secondary education to those who have no hope of finding jobs. To what extent do you agree or disagree?)的题目审题会对大家造成一定障碍之外，其他两个都是比较简单的。就其类别而言，都是辩论类，算是比较正常的情况。另外一个对二月考生比较利好的消息就是，26日大家最惧怕的地图题已经出现了，所以先烈们已经用热血给我们后来者扫清了道路，我们可以放70 percent的心啦。但是圆圆老师并不排除出现二般的情况，即GZs看到我们过年很不爽，2月流程图再现！07年就有这样的先例！

      综合以上因素，我认为二月份考试大作文仍然会以社会类为主，如政府投资和义务问题(政府对教育、医疗、艺术、环境、公共安全的义务，对文化的保护)，其次关注教育类，第三是环境和科技(例如电脑、网络、电视等新事物对人们生活带来的改变)。预测有风险，圆圆老师冒险出了一下几个题目，请大家按照上课时候训练方法，找出分论点，并将其翻译为准确主题观点。

      1.It is now possible to perform. everyday tasks as banking, shopping and business transactions without meeting people face to face. What are effects it may bring on the individuals and society as a whole?

      2.Will modern technology, such as the Internet, ever replace the book or the written word as the sole source of information?

      3.With the development of modern science and technology, some aspects of traditional culture are being lost, so some people think that the traditional culture and technology will be replaced by the modern ones, such as computer and internet. What is your opinion?

      4. The government should control the amount of violence in films and on television in order to decrease the violent crimes in society. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this issue?

      5.Some think young should take a job as soon as they leave school to develop career. Others think they should further their study in university to have a successful career. Discuss.

      6.some people say that governments should pay for the health care and education, but other people say that it is not the governments' responsibility. Discuss and give your views

      7.Environmental problems are as big as not for individual country or individual people to address. In other words, we have reached the stage that environmental problems must be solved at international level. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

      8. Scientific research should be carried out and controlled by governments, rather than by private companies. Agree or disagree?

      9.Due to the increasing cultural and business communication between countries, differences between countries have become less evident. People in different countries watch the same movies, read the same books and have the same fashions. To what extent do the advantages of these communication outweigh the disadvantages?

      10.Some people think the university education is to prepare students for employment, others think it has other functions. Discuss and say what other functions university education should have.
